Quick Tips

Never rename or move original PNGs — ComfyUI embeds workflow metadata that survives only in the original file.

Use YYYY-MM-DD date format for chronological sorting in any file manager.

Keep a raw/ folder as your "digital negative" archive — curate copies, not originals.

Add a brief.md or README.md to project folders so you remember the creative intent.

Choose Project-Based if:

You work on distinct campaigns
Outputs map to client deliverables
You need to archive per-project

Choose Date-Based if:

You generate images daily
Volume is high (50+ per day)
You want chronological history

Choose Hybrid if:

You work in a team or studio
Some outputs are raw, some curated
You need both archive and portfolio
