What it does
The --tile parameter makes Midjourney produce an image whose edges line up when repeated, so it can be tiled infinitely without visible seams. It is the go-to for surface textures, fabric prints, wallpaper, and repeating background patterns.
The generated image is a single tile — to see the seamless effect you repeat it in an image editor or pattern tool. Not every subject tiles convincingly; simple, evenly distributed patterns work best.
