What it does
The --no parameter is Midjourney’s negative prompt: list the things you want to discourage, comma-separated, and the model steers away from them. It is useful for removing recurring unwanted elements — text, watermarks, extra limbs, a colour you keep getting.
It is a nudge, not an absolute filter. Strong prompt cues can still override it, and in rare cases naming something draws attention to it. Use it as one tool among several rather than a guaranteed switch.
