What it does
The --stylize parameter (shorthand --s) sets how much of Midjourney’s trained artistic sensibility is layered onto your prompt. At low values the model follows your words closely; at high values it takes more creative licence with colour, lighting, and composition, sometimes at the expense of literal accuracy.
It is one of the most impactful sliders for the overall feel of an image. Think of it as a dial from "do exactly what I said" to "make it look good even if that means straying from the prompt."
